Tim Pyle has always had a love for trucks—Tonka ones as a child, and now the real thing as a Sales Manager here at HOLT Truck Centers. His passion doesn’t stop at the job site. At home, Tim is a husband, father, and car enthusiast, pouring his free time into restoring old cars, trucks, and tractors alongside his son, William.
“My wife Dondra and I have been married for 30 years, and William is our only child,” Tim shared. “We spend a lot of time together as a family, especially in the shop. Dondra’s found her niche in our car-obsessed hobbies too—it’s something we all enjoy.”
That sense of togetherness and shared purpose extends into Tim’s work life. As a leader in the sales organization, Tim sees his role not just in terms of hitting goals, but also in growing the team.
“I enjoy the challenges that come with sales—problem solving, being creative, building relationships, and watching reps grow into successful professionals,” he said. “Being even a small part of their success stories is what drives me.”
Tim brings the same mindset to his team that he brings to parenting—encouragement, consistency, and belief in others. “I was lucky to have parents who supported me in everything I tried,” Tim said. “I’ve always tried to do the same for William, and I try to bring that to my team too. Sometimes, a simple ‘you got this’ goes a long way.”
His son describes him in one word: encouraging. And it’s a quality Tim believes more young people need to hear in a world full of noise and self-doubt.
